⚠️ This product needs at least a 2 meter chimney to work properly. A 3 meter chimney is recommended for the best results.
📌 It's best to use a metal tabletop with this product.
📌 During the first use, you might see some white smoke coming from the unit. Try not to breathe it in. Let it run for about an hour, then turn it off and let it cool down before using it again.
📌 The Light Box M is designed with 4-sided Air Curtain technology to reduce soot buildup, but soot may still occur depending on how you use it, where you place the logs, the quality of the logs, and the height and setup of the chimney.

How to set up
Step 1
To remove the side flaps of the Unicorn M main body, begin by loosening the bolts. Grip the bolt securely and turn it counterclockwise until it is fully unscrewed. Repeat this process for all four sides to detach the side flaps.
Step 2
Make sure to remove both side flaps from the main body. Carefully lift and detach each flap after loosening the bolts on both sides. This will fully open up the unit, allowing you to proceed with the next steps of the assembly.
Step 3
Carefully push the combustion plates inside the main body toward each other. Make sure they fit snugly without leaving gaps, as this will help with efficient combustion and even heat distribution.
Step 4
Place the Lightbox on top of the main body. Make sure it aligns properly with the base, ensuring that all connection points are securely in place.
Step 5
Attach the Lightbox directly to the slots where the flaps were removed. As you align the Lightbox, ensure that the holes on both the Lightbox and the main body are perfectly matched.
Step 6
Secure the bolts on all four sides. To ensure a perfect fit with the main body of the Uniconn M, slightly lift the Light Box by about 1mm as you align the holes. This design accounts for any minor adjustments needed due to wear over time.
Step 7
Ensure that the assembly is complete by checking if the Lightbox is securely attached to the main body, as shown in the image.
Step 8
Start by attaching the 80Ø chimney to the top of the Light Box. The minimum recommended height for the chimney is 2M, with 3M being ideal for optimal performance.
Step 9
Please set up and use the Light Box on a 1unit IGT table or a similarly sized table. This ensures stability and optimal performance during use.
Chimney Securing Method
When using the chimney at a height of 3M or more, it is recommended to secure it properly.
In windy conditions or when the chimney is extended to a great height, there is a risk of the chimney tipping over, which could lead to an accident.
To ensure safety, use the included string holder to securely anchor the chimney.
You will need the following items, some of which are included in the Lightbox M package:
- Included: 75mm 4-point support string holder
- Not included: strings * 4ea, each cut to 2.5 meters in length (4-5mm thickness recommended), stoppers * 4ea, carabiners * 4ea.
Make sure to attach and secure these properly to avoid any incidents.
Attach the carabiner to the string that has been cut to 2.5 meters, and then hook the carabiner onto the string holder. Position the string holder at the middle section of the chimney setup, specifically at the reducer.
Hook the opposite end of the strings around the table legs.
With the stable 4-point support, you can safely use the tall chimney even in windy conditions.
📌 However, please be aware of potential risks, such as sudden gusts of wind, and take appropriate precautions. If conditions become unsafe, it is important to stop using the product and disassemble it as necessary.
